Port Vila, vanuatu to southport, Australia/ 1,050nm / 24 Jun - 4 Jul 2023

11 days / cat O ocean race / SILVER FERN & SALT LINES / cREW full

The Port Vila, Vanuatu to Southport, Australia Race will be an epic 2-yacht Category 0, SW 1,050nm fun race across the sunny and warm Pacific Ocean and into the Coral Sea as we navigate our way through islands and reefs to Southport on Australia’s Queensland Coast. We’ll go head to head with two 70+ foot race yacht crews on Silver Fern and Salt Lines racing each other to claim the title of Coral Sea Ocean Race Winner in this inaugural yacht race.

It promises to be an excellent voyage for those looking for a longer ocean passage, while enjoying the experience in a warm and fairly forgiving tropical environment. For those wanting to experience cruising to the Pacific Islands, it also offers an insight into the planning, preparation and formalities required for an ocean passage and for departing from a foreign port.
