Our expeditions are to remote locations, that are off the beaten track and often challenging to get to. We can encounter adverse weather, difficult navigational conditions and have to plan to be self-sufficient in all aspects of the passage. Expeditions are design for those with a hunger for exploration and adventure in places, few ever get to experience. Full training is provided, and sailors of all ages and experience levels are welcome to join the crew.

Gold Coast To Sydney | Ocean Expedition

This offshore passage is a 820nm expedition from Southport on the sunny Queensland Gold Coast, to Middleton and Elizabeth Reef’s, 300nm to the east, Lord Howe Island 100nm to the south, Balls Pyramid and finally 420nm to Sydney; Australia’s home of the Rolex Sydney Hobart Race.
