This is a new opportunity (released 27th July 2024) has places for 35 new members and 10 shareholders . There are now just 3 opportunities for new Members and 1 for new Shareholders remaining.

This is your opportunity to join me as a Member or Shareholder in our new 105-foot super yacht: “Sea Breeze III” that’s set to take our crew and clients on a whole new range of cruises, expeditions and adventures. This is your opportunity to invest in membership or become a shareholder, to receive exclusive benefits that also include; Silver Fern, Te Kaihōpara and Merit. Membership & shareholder application form  

Ocean Sailing Expeditions Membership / shareholder joining process

  1. Select your Membership or Shareholder option using the membership application form above.

  2. You will receive an invoice from Xero within 24 hours for your $1,000 refundable deposit. Membership is in $AUD and Share purchases are in $NZD.

  3. Once this is paid, your Membership or Shareholder position is confirmed and you will be sent a copy of the Membership or ShareholderAgreement for reviewing and signing

  4. If you pay your deposit after all 35 memberships or 10 shareholder options have already been allocated, you will be placed on a wait-list in case of a cancellation.

  5. You can pay by credit/debit card or direct credit into the Ocean Sailing Expeditions bank account and all payment options will be included in the Xero invoice.

  6. Your initial $1,000 deposit includes a 7-day cooling off and change of mind period. You can also change your membership option/s within this period. This will be refunded if the yacht purchase does not proceed.

  7. You final payment for the balance is due within 7 days of receiving your final invoice.

  8. Upon full payment; you will receive a tax receipt and either your Share Certificate and Shareholders welcome pack or Membership and Membership welcome pack.

Other Membership Terms

  • The benefits can be applied to new, future event bookings only. Sailing credit can can be redeemed in any denomination, accumulated and does not expire.

  • Sailing credit and members discount can be used on Silver Fern, Te Kaihōpara and Sea Breeze III. Sailing credit and members discount are calculated at normal retail price (Captains Choice). Sailing credit and members discount is for members use only.

  • Sea Breeze III will be purchased freehold. There is no other finance required to purchase the yacht.

Other Shareholder Terms

  • $50k investment Shareholders:

    • Exclusive private, bare-boat 7-days of use annually OR a fixed 12% cash dividend per annum

    • Receive 40% in lifetime sailing discount

  • $100k investment Shareholders:

    • Exclusive private, bare-boat 15-days of use annually OR a fixed 12% cash dividend per annum

    • Receive 50% in lifetime sailing discount

  • Your private, bare-boat use, can be accumulated for up to 3 years and used in any denomination

  • Shareholders discount and bare-boat use apply to Silver Fern, Te Kaihōpara and Sea Breeze III. The discount can be applied to new, future event bookings only. Sailing credit and members discount are calculated at normal retail price (Captains Choice).

  • Sea Breeze III will be purchased freehold. There is no other finance required to purchase the yacht.

  • This offer is compliant with Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 (FMCA) and made under the Small Offer Exemption (FMCA Section 6). The offer must be made to no more than 20 investors in any 12-month period. The total amount raised from all such offers must not exceed NZD 2 million in any 12-month period. The offer is only being made directly to business contacts of Ocean Sailing Expeditions.
