Your adventure begins at Vuda Point, a charming marina nestled on the western coast of Viti Levu. Steeped in history, Vuda Point has long served as a traditional mooring site, blending Fijian cultural heritage with modern amenities. According to local legend, it is believed to be the landing site of the first Fijians who arrived in the archipelago more than 3,000 years ago.

As a sailing destination, Vuda Point offers excellent facilities, including a well-protected harbour, fuel services, and a friendly, welcoming community. Explore the vibrant local markets, indulge in traditional Fijian cuisine, and soak in the relaxing Sabeto Hot Springs and Mud Pool. The nearby Garden of the Sleeping Giant showcases a beautiful collection of orchids and tropical plants, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The stunning sunsets over the marina provide a perfect end to your first day, setting the tone for the adventure ahead.

Sailing the Pacific Ocean

As you set sail from Vuda Point, prepare to be captivated by the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean. The journey spans approximately 510 nautical miles, offering an immersive experience of the ocean’s serene beauty. The Pacific is renowned for its calm, clear waters and gentle trade winds, providing a smooth and enjoyable sail.
